Removing a follower on Twitter (sorry not a Facebook question) (7 posts)

Topic tags: Twitter
  • Good morning,

I have a porn follower on my twitter account that I don’t want.  Does anyone know how to remove a follower? Thanks

  • @mchillemi. You can block a follower. Go to your page and click on “followers” and a list will appear. Find the follower you want to block. To the right of their name is an icon with a head, click on that and a drop down menu appears. Click “block @…….” and their tweets will no longer show on your account. Hope this helps.

  • Yay!!! I found it. Thank you so much for your help!!!

  • @albert73.

Hi Madeline. Go to Twitter ” help” there is a button there, regarding site security which will block the person right across the whole site. Also pass what details you have to your local Police wherever you are.

  • @mchillemi I have moved this to the Small Business group from the Facebook group. Many Twitter questions get answered in this group and not the Facebook group

  • You are awesome!!! Thank you.

  • I had to fumble my way through “blocking” a foul-mouth follower myself yesterday. Sometimes the nicest people can be so disgusting… which I don’t want to be associated with… then, those same people turn around and do something wonderful. But it’s too late for me. What comes out of there mouths, racist or pornographic, gets an immediate block from me. No matter how “nice” they are.
