So I thought I would share it here as well
Here is where you can setup your blog subscriptions on Amazon:https://kindlepublishing.amazon.com
here is where you want to go to publish content of yours on Kindle:http://www.amazon.com/gp/feature.html?ie=UTF8&docId=1000234621
And here is where you go for Kindle Direct Publishing – https://kdp.amazon.com/self-publishing/signin – where you can self publish things like ebooks or PDFs, etc.

@blogsbyheather I, too, thank you for this information. The changing nature of publishing fairly demands that any writer who wishes to reach a wide audience approach these venues. Besides the kindle I have considered the Ipad. I’m always pleased to see alternatives to the, “Pop”, venues though I am still a big apple fan.
