    my  numbers on pinterest  are   getting  wierd…..  one  board  that had  50  followers  now has  500 ,i never  thought the  50  was  correct….  … several of  my  boards went  from   1200 followers  down to  7 or 800…. and  one  day   everything plummeted  to  zero…. i think the  board  numbers   got   altered    just  after  the   day  things went to  zero….

    the  plummeting  numbers  has  been an ongoing  problem…. then  they  come  back up…many  have reported it… i havent heard of  the  board  numbers  changing…. any info on  this?

    That is frustrating. Have you noticed any dramatic changes in driving traffic to your site from Pinterest?

    @rich-brooks not  sure on the traffic…i wasnt  keeping  good enough  track….pinterest seems  to  be in the  top 5  referrers  to  our website….

    .   a day later     the  traffic    went  back up   except  for one  day….. but my  boards  that were  over  1000  are now in the  7 to 800s….. i think this is an ongoing  problem….

    @annfurnivall Hi Ann, I had the same problem today, so here is a link that I found on pinreach explaining why it’s happening. - https://support.pinterest.com/entries/21480631-issue-follower-count-changes – They have been deleting fake accounts, also, yesterday when I was trying to follow several accounts they asked me for a proof that shows that I’m not a machine. Hope it can help you to understand what’s happened recently with your followers numbers.

      lots of my numbers  went  back up…..i hope they dont put a anti robot  button on where you have to   log in everytime….
