pinterest influence….. (6 posts)

  • this isnt  exactly measurable   but its huge for us……

so many of our  customers are  using  pinterest and  responding to our  boards and share our  interests…its pushing ups into a new direction,,,//  we are   upgrading  our parts  department and   will be adding lots and lots of parts for pinterest  projects….. we have always had  this  stuff  but   this year has pushed it  into  front and center….thanks  to pinterest and  how  fast the ideas  can  fly around   on it…… for  us  it will mean our slant on parts…outside the box…not what you would find at hobby lobby….

  • A bit surprising/disappointing that this social media repository doesn’t have Pinterest page on our profiles?

  • Hi @annfurnivall

Analyzing numbers is good and well but when you can get a handle on your customers; they’re needs; as you have, you can really soar above the competition. Good for you.

    Hi @prsanibel

Pinterest was added a awhile back – I have mine on my profile. You may need to look again.

Happy New Year everyone!  Last day to say that effectively – heh.

  • Thanks Eileen, I should have looked again before I spoke. Thanks and Happy New Year.

I have been avoiding Pinterest for my company (flyte), letting my web marketer run it for us. (Yes, she’s a woman, so totally caving on the gender bias thing.)

However, for my new side project (which I hope to launch today or tomorrow!) I just created a business page and my new blog will be super Pinterest friendly.

And there’s nothing wrong with that.

I have friends who started a Pinterest board just for fun, interaction, and engagement with customers who had the same thing happen. One interest led to another, which customers picked up on and expanded, and the whole thing led their company into a direction they had never dreamed before. Pretty cool…

Personally, I’ve always had an eye for beautiful, artistic doors… started a Knock Knock board for my artistic eye’s pleasure… but am finding that it’s yearning monetization of a certain kind. I love that about Pinterest. You just never know where it and a box of chocolates might lead…
