I ran across this at Computerworld this morning and just had to share it.  It was a hoot but in the end, not so improbable. 

New tech words for the new year

There are three pages for this article and at the end – “McAflee” – If you have followed the McAfee saga (flight from Belize to Guatemala and subsequent exportation to the U.S.) you’ll understand the term very easily. I G+’d and tweeted almost every blog entry he made during the (terrified of Belize government flight) and this is certainly an apt term.  Funny too.

So much of what I read is not good news so when I find an article that needs to be shared I try to do that.

I don’t know exactly how they feel about this here in the clubs.  Everyone can find this stuff on their own through their social media accounts and just generally, online research.  

So far, none of us have been smacked down for it, even when it is not “social media,” per se. I think we’ve been lucky and I try not to overdo this sort thing here.  Knock on wood, eh? Heh.

This is thing we should be doing —>  connecting at other places so we can share LOTS of information.
