Have you all seen this yet?

    http://www.pinerly.com/i/R67lr

I’m excited to get in and see what it’s all about! Sounds like a great way to manage Pinterest for business. Post your link after clicking on mine so we can get everyone in! I will post again after I get 10 friends so the next link can get them, and so on, and so on.

Oh, and I heard about this from Ryan Deiss – just to give some credibility to it. ;)

  • @marylarson  I signed up through your link, heres mine! http://www.pinerly.com/i/8SWn4I look forward to giving this a go!Cheers, Martyn

  • @hildaalanisgonzalez Did you get it to work?

    @hmmarketing Thanks Martyn!

  • Thank you Mary, I did it. I had to open the club page and acces it from your post. First I tried from the email and I couldn’t.

  • @hildaalanisgonzalez Oh good – glad it worked!

  • @marylarson - I used your link too,  signed up and shared. . and now what? My link is http://www.pinerly.com/i/f54RM TNK

Do we need to “friend” each other to get into the full swing?

  • Here is my link: http://www.pinerly.com/i/187BH

  • Thank you for this  @marylarson – looks like it could be interesting.  It doesn’t appear that we can do anything else at the moment but gather people on our individual links…which will earn us an invite to the actual application.

    This is me:  http://www.pinerly.com/i/l22gS

  • This is me! Thanks so much! I am linking to your unique links!http://www.pinerly.com/i/VC517

  • My pinterest has a new look, it’s because I signed on this page or is it something that pinterest changed?, I don’t like the new style!

  • When I saw your post,  @hildaalanisgonzalez I signed on to Pinterest…my design looks the same as it always has, and I have already signed up at Pinerly.

BTW – the only way to get even a sneak peek at Pinerly is to have friends sign up… I shared with nearly 4000 people and not one taker.  I’m sure it’s because they can’t see what they’re signing up for, and I told @pinerly that on Twitter.  I told them I’d just wait until it was live.

  • http://www.pinerly.com/i/hzYvy Here’s mine, I don’t have time to play right now, but will be back and figure it out. Thanks @marylarson

  • @marylarson Just signed up here is my link…. http://www.pinerly.com/i/wpNbA

Thanks for the info: I’m fairly new to Pinterest as well.

    Cherrs!Melissa

  • Thanks all – I have my 10 friends, so feel free to click on the next link! In following Pinerly on Twitter, looks like invites will go out next week.

Also, the new Pinterest profile is not affiliated with the Pinerly dashboard.

  •  I didn’t share it before, I was waiting to understand what it was, but here is mine, so please open mine and do what you have to do :)

That’s why I never be able to see what was next, oops!

I saw, everybody liked the new one, not for me!

  • i wouldnt  join  that…ive only  been on there a few  weeks, and  still exploring   in the normal  ways…..im  not  too  concerned about how many  follow me..i think  some  of my  customers  are following me, because we  like the same things,,, but im  not   into asking them  to…i do  put it on  my  facebook…. pinterest is so  visual and   pleasure   focussed, it will be interesting to see   how it  reacts  to  some of the   marketing….id  be leery of pushing  too much into the  commercial side for my  business… .im  sticking to  organic growth…..

whats  really  your  goal  for  doing all this?   …if  4000  people didnt  reply, in the  example  from Faye   i thilnk  they are telling   us  something…maybe it felt like  spam….we dont want to look like we are spamming our  customers…

  • From what I’ve read, the dashboard would not be seen by customers, it’s just for your own use. Like I said, this was not something I just found, it was recommended by Ryan Deiss who is well-known in social media.

I haven’t asked our customers to join, it’s obviously not going to be for everyone. Not everyone is using Pinterest for business purposes.

And I’m SURE this will not be the only dashboard-type thing that comes along for Pinterest. There are already copies of Pinterest out there from what I’ve read.

  • Here is my link…I am very excited to see this tool!!! Please help me and I will help you in return!!!

  • Hi. I’ve been using Pinterest with some reasonable success for a while, but not as much as I’d like so here’s my link too! Thanks

    http://www.pinerly.com/i/u3B91

  • Hi all…can someone explain how this works.  I am relatively new to Pinterest and to this group….what do I do

  • Hi Guys and @marylarson.  Here is my link http://www.pinerly.com/i/ZPSP4

Very interested to see what this is all about.

  • @marylarson thanks mary…im  going to look into this  today..its  amonth since  your post  on this….now  do you like it?   any hints for use?…

as  the time  rolls on i  can see  this info  would  be useful for us…

..yesterday i was looking at the pin source   thing,www.pinterest.com/source/yourname…..or  something like that…, and   embarrassed  to see that  one of  the most popular pins  from our website  i hadnt even pinned!!!!   i have it pinned now…

  • So far I find Pinerly highly annoying…they haven’t even opened it up yet.  As I said above, I’ll check it out when it goes live – you can’t do anything but ask friends to sign up under your link (and if you get 10 you get to peek), but you can’t show your friends what they’re signing up for!  Ridiculous.

Pinerly is not open to the public. Share your unique link on Facebook and Twitter to get ahead of your competition! Invite friends, co-workers, family… you get the point. Friends qualify you for an earlier invite and bonus features. Please note, signing up from the same computer multiple times will not count =)

  • we  checked  up on it today and  im  waiting too…  dont w ant to ask anyone   when i know  nothing about it…. i guess  pinterest  started  this way…but it seems  like a big hurdle  to me….

  • Pinterest was by invitation only to start with (is it still? I’m not sure!) but you could use the features once you were in.  With Pinerly you’ve got nothing to entice your friends with…

  • I had a look at Pinerly from one of the posts here but don’t really understand why I need to join Pinerly when I’m already on Pinterest and getting fast reaction (repins, likes) to the pages that I pin. As with Pinterest I see that these comments are mostly from women which is fine for me because my schooldaysmagazine.com is targeted to parents and teachers. I tend to find more male readers and professional networking on Twitter. I would appreciate hearing why I should join Pinerly because it looks like it may just add even more to my already overstuffed workload.

  • @schooldaysmag Pinerly is not the same as Pinterest – it is a dashboard tool that will work in conjunction with Pinterest, tracking stats (like re-pins), allowing you to schedule Pins at certain times…basically for marketing purposes.  This explains it a little better than I – it came from a blog I found in search: http://agbeat.com/real-estate-technology-new-media/pinerly-dashboard-for-pinterest-stats-scheduled-pins-and-more/

“Not affiliated with Pinterest but built by Pinterest fans, Pinerly has launched by a group of “passionate, hard-working, and ambitious people” that founded Pinerly because “using Pinterest gave us a huge boost in traffic (at some point over 30%) and we wanted to empower brands and users by helping them do the same.” The domain is under a month old, and it is said the site launched barely a week ago.”

“The Pinerly dashboard allows you to locate other Pinterest users that are interested in the same topics, unfollow groups of pinners you no longer wish to follow, and keep your Pinterest stream focused.”

“View popular pins, schedule pins throughout the day to test the effectiveness of your timing, and view statistics to give you a better idea of what is working and what is not.”

“Pinerly is not open to the public, but they offer a waiting list for users. Sharing the service with your social networks and getting them to sign up can get you bumped up in line, a practice we do not personally condone, but the tool is useful enough that for now, it is worth the wait.”

  • @fayebrogi Thanks Faye, I will check it out.

  • @schooldaysmag You’re very welcome :)   I may be annoyed with their startup tactics, but it sounds like it could be a cool tool anyway!

  • You’re correct, I didn’t like the idea of just adding my email address but I did it. Also didn’t like the request for pinning the photo – it’s not one that I would pin anyway, however….. will see what happens. Got to do what I have to do! Appreciate your help.

  • Anytime :)
