For a fairly normal, regular website selling both digital/physical and subscription-based products, it seems that there’s an onslaught of mobile payment solutions. Which to choose?
- DigiMo seems to have some nice social features.
- LevelUp uses QR and offers discounts
- PayPal has always been available
- Dwolla is prepaid/linked account system but cheap and effect (not sure if mobile solution exists)
- Google Wallet of course
- and a slew of others
How to even begin choosing?

When I was regularly selling webinar tickets I used e-junkie b/c they do a great job w/digital products. It sat on top of PayPal.
I use eventbrite (w/you can use w/either PayPal or Authorize.net and probably others) for webinars and seminars now.

by mobile payments do you mean online or payments you can take with a mobile device? I use the square card reader attached to my iphone and it works nicely. @robmitchell

@deairby Have you had positive experiences with square? Because, when I was looking into mobile payments I looked into it but found way too many horror stories around it. I went to a simple mobile solution from my bank, very secure.
