  • Is anyone using MarketMeSuite?

I have had the hardest time getting MarketMeSuite to operate properly.

First, it was a problem with Adobe Air, then I had to uninstall, then re-install it before trying to load MarketMeSuite.

Then it told me MarketMeSuite was already loaded. That resulted in me having to uninstall it and re-install it.

Then when it finally loaded, and I tried to log-in and use it for the first time, I got an error that said I was not connected to the internet.

I searched their forum and found a thread dealing with that issue, and the reply was “make sure you are connected to the internet”.

I submitted a ticket and got an auto-reply saying, “we currently do not offer ticket support. In order to keep our system open for you to publish in our forum and our beta users to give us feedback, there is an option to sign up, which has likely led to this ticket submission. We are working on a better way.”

And, “In the new year, we will have pro-plans that will include ticket support, for for now you can get quick help by tweeting @MarketMeHelp or posting in our facebook help group”.

However, at their group page, I found that you have to approved to join it before you can post anything!

I’m about 2 seconds from uninstalling the whole shootin’ match!

    There, I feel better.

    Not really…..

  • I installed it this past week & didn’t run into the technical walls you did, but am stumped at how it’s supposed to be so much better than the others.

I second your vote on their support & even how to documents really lacking the meat that’s needed for usefulness!

  • The good news is that I did get accepted to their group.

The bad news is that I have yet to use the service.

I’ve posted my issue in the group so we’ll see if they come up with a resolution.

  • what is marketmesuite used for? @warrenveach

  • @deairby

Its a Social Media Dashboard, “Packed with Amazing Features”

From their site: “More than just a dashboard-Let MarketMeSuite build client relationships and organic, targeted leads from the word go. This ethical marketing app can do more than schedule posts to Twitter and Facebook, source local users in your niche or automatically tweet RSS feeds”.

Everything indicates it would be very helpful, if I can ever use it….

  • Warren, I am traing partner with MarketMeSuite and i have yet to encounter the issues your discussing. It sounds like you were having technical issues either with your computer or spending a few extra minutes going through installing air application then mms.The only issue i have run into is controlling the landing page in facebook which will be adressed in the version 4 expected to come out shortly. Cheers Brian

    Nice to meet you Brian.

Just an FYI, as I read your comments, I brought up MMS and again attempted to log in and received the same error “Could not contact the server,  is your internet connected?”

And as soon as I got that error, I hit “post Reply” on this post proving that my internet is indeed connected.

Also, even though I have posted my concerns in the facebook group as  was instructed to do, I have yet to receive a reply.

  • Best advice, is to make sure your air application is fully up-to-date. then try deleting and re-installing MMS.

If this does not resolve the problem, put in a support ticket.

    Good luck

  • @brianmcf

    1. air application is fully up-to-date as of yesterday when it was installed, uninstalled, and re-installed.
    2. MMS-uninstalled and re-installed.

After that, I was able to get the MMS box to open asking for user/password to log-in, but that’s where the “internet not connected” message comes in.

There appears to be no way to submit an actual Trouble Ticket as I originally stated, “I submitted a ticket and got an auto-reply saying, “we currently do not offer ticket support. In order to keep our system open for you to publish in our forum and our beta users to give us feedback, there is an option to sign up, which has likely led to this ticket submission. I submitted my inquiry on facebook and after getting no response, I re-submitted it again this morning.

  • take a deep breath and exhale, leave the application alone for a few days and see if the problem is still persisting.

try getting help on facebook about the issue like they suggested in the mean time.

If all else fails their is always Hootsuite.

Just wanted to let you know that I did finally receive a response, this morning from MMS.

I haven’t had time to follow through on the recommendations yet, but I did get an answer.

I’ll let you know if it works…
