I was just wondering if anyone had any tips on getting sales leads or making sales through Facebook and Twitter. I’m starting to build pretty good followings for one company I’m doing work for, but the items we sell are very expensive. Does anyone have any tips?

Building a good following is the first step, but remember that until someone feels that you are a valuable resource – the go-to person – the sales and leads will be slow. My motto is educate first, sell later.

Jessie @jessemuench You have asked the question that all marketers on social media are trying to understand. From what I have learned, the best way to make sales on any social media site or forum, is with engaging comments with a link back to your $$$ site. A 80/20 mix with 80% of the comments focused on topics that our followers are interested in.
