Phil,
What do you mean by “with Facebook interface” or Facebook integration? Do you want your latest blog posts to feed into Facebook? Do you want your Facebook updates to display on a page of your site? Do you want a link to your Facebook page on your site or the Share/Like button?
Even if you’re a small one-person business, I suggest avoiding those build-it-yourself sites that many website hosting companies offer. My company designs custom WordPress sites and I can’t tell you how many people we have “rescued” from those build-it-yourself places, which, on the whole, do not offer the functionality or professionalism that a small business site needs.
I view my website and my other online outposts as my online storefront, open 24/7. People window shop at my “store” for about 2 seconds before deciding whether to walk in the door, so my website had better be inviting and easy to navigate.
I’ve done both the do-it-yourself site and the professionally-designed site, and I discovered that the investment in the professionally-designed site paid for itself in new clientele in less than three months. Best decision I ever made.
