Yep, I have been placed under the iron fist and restricted from making new connections due to a few people apparently reporting me for ‘not knowing them’.

I am always shocked and amazed by this. I mean no-one on there knows all of their friends and are on there to professionally network and since I am a professional network and have already established over 350 of the greatest art connections you think that would give me some kind of credibility.

But no. Not for some people.

Anyways, feel free to whinge here also, the whole thing is ridiculous.

And I can’t tell who reported me! Argh.

Just trying to make friends…anyone know a beeter way to do this, am I stuck now forever, will this restriction lift, can I appeal it, anything?

Alas, do not feel distraught my friend and attempt to hang yourself with wet toilet paper.  The world is a conundrum and LinkedIn has its fretful moments. Please allow me to lay the ground work to cure your anxiety for I too have experienced this fateful delima.
a) Find your Member ID # Firstb) In The Email Address Box: Send:  CS @LINKEDIN.comc) Subject: Members Firstd) In The Body of The Email, state your case that you have been limited to connecting to others by Linkedin as they continue to ask for the email address of each connection that you want to connect with.  That is impossible.  Please lift the restriction.
Additionally, you can contact the Linkedin Regional Manager in California, Michael Barba at 650-605-0778.  He is a good guy that listens to your issues and works through the problems to a resolution.

I noticed that you included an extra letter at the end of each address above i.e. com being .comc etc so I rounded it off using my best judgement and went with that. .com that is.

I think as far as FB goes, to get it to work you will need to limit it to 50 at a time. At least it worked for me so it might be worth a try.

I had this happen to me also, and they lifted it right away with just a slap on the wrist. Now I am very selective.
