Funny you should mention LinkedIn as I find it’s often an underestimated social media platform. Even here on SME clubs, it’s a topic I find that’s gotten a lot less attention compared to the big 3: facebook, twitter, Google+.
Perhaps a club dedicated to LinkedIn could address the situation…

@localbusinessco @fredericgonzalo I agree LinkedIn is often overlooked. I am planning on launching my company page there as soon as my website is finished. As a B2B services LLC, it offers me more than a FB page (but that is likely a personal bias). I have to ration time on the various networks, and LinkedIn has always done well for me.

Pauline, I noticed that you don’t have a photo of yourself on here or Linkedin. People tend to want to connect and do business with those who have a photo. It helps to promote transparency and makes people more comfortable with engaging with you!

I hope they start a LinkedIn club on SME soon because I have to agree with @fredericgonzalo that it is underestimated when it comes to the big social media hitters.
