    Today is the last day!

  • @viralmarketmom
Thank you for the heads up on this.

  • Very Helpul, Thank you LC Hunt!

  • @viralmarketmom Thanks for the instructions. I don’t really have much to hide but the tracking is definitely creepy. And as a market researcher, I prefer an imperfect search — it’s part of the hunt for me!

A bit late to ask but what about Google+?

  • @viralmarketmom

Great heads-up – thanks for posting.

  • You can also opt out of letting Google personalize ads for you at http://www.google.com/settings/ads. (Be sure to log in to your account before you opt out.)

  • @rebeccacohen @hildaalanisgonzalez – You’re welcome. Nice to meet you :)

@kc_kreative – You’re welcome. It is one of those tidbits where you “take what you need and leave the rest at the door”. There are members that might now know, so I posted it.
I’m not sure what you are asking about G+ … it’s all the same through their products and options controlled in the same Account Settings area.

  • Very torn about deleting history, since it seems that it will take away from any progress? Also, from what I understand about FB, they are the less private social media…right? I am not afraid to go completely public, just prefer not to have family pictures and family info exposed. Would like to delete messages and re-tweets on twitter even more…lol (have been deceived into re-tweets that I did not agree with, too rushed). Lately, I go through Twitter follow names and block all x-rated almost daily!(very annoying!)Also, today, finally had to re-set email notifications…had 900+ from here!

    Thanks for all information,georgi

  • @mssilvr – No, Google is pretty open with images and info, too, unless you set your Account Settings. For example, you have to set your images so that people do not download them if you do not want them to download your images; else the default is the same as Facebook’s … open for downloads.  I just mentioned those Twitter accounts to my husband before I logged in over here. I cannot believe how many more there have been and I started getting some strange RTs, too. It is very annoying and I have been blocking all of them.

  • Yes…get those too. (I block followers everyday, that are smut sites!) I have had trouble with people using my company name, photos, and even comments…that is why I finally started my business blog…not very good at it, but it gives me a chance to defend myself against bogus sites…ms321silver.blogspot.com. The images were absolutely making me crazy…finally started uploading more of my own, and it helped a little.

  • @mssilvr – Well, that’s great that you launched a blog :) I took a peak and see that’s it’s coming along with content and pictures of your pretty jewelry. Have you joined the blogging group here, too? I just added you on Twitter (mine is  @ViralMarketMom). Have a great week :)

  • @viralmarketmom _ I guess I didn’t see this on time.. Can’t delete the history now… oh well, nothing to hide.

  • @prestonodenbrett – LOL, that’s a good thing :)
