I do the marketing for 3 businesses that are run by an interesting set of siblings. Planning is NOT one of their strong suits. Late yesterday, they decided they were opening one of the golf courses up TODAY. I immediately posted to all 3 of the course’s Facebook Pages (linking the two that were not opening to the one that was) and sent out an email to my master list (which contains emails for all three golf courses).
Today is the first day in their history that so many customers were there on the opening day for golf season! It’s been busy enough that they’re taking tee times seriously ~ which is unheard of in March 
Work those social media accounts and back it up with your email lists! If I didn’t have so many ears on social media because I’d been talking to the customers and building rapport . . . today wouldn’t have happened like it did!
