  • I just found out about a screen sharing product that can have many people meet online and share the leader’s screen. I was told there was a free version but it looks like that only lasts 14 days.  Anywhoo….anyone using it and like it?Thanks…

  • @deairby

Haven’t tried it. You know, I remember recently reading that freeconferencecall.com, which I use, now has a screen sharing tool.

    http://www.freeconferencecall.com/resources/whats-new.html

    Haven’t played around w/it b/c I’m already paying for Glance.net and GotoWebinar.

  • Is that FreeScreenSharing.com?  A potential contact recommened that we talk/communicate using it but we ended up not doing so. Would be interested to learn if others or you Dea, have used it.

  • @deairby , Dea, I used it once, about a month ago, it was nice because in the other side of the phone they were telling me what to do and where to go to fix mix website, also, they had the opportunity to control the mouse on my screen. I used it for free, but after that I got some emails letting me know that next time I had to pay for it.

After you sign to use it, you get an ID#, when you give to the other side the ID#, then they have access to your screen.

I liked it because it was easy for me to understand what exactly I needed to do to fix it. But, after I used it, two days later, my computer stop working, it got a bug, and until now still is not working. The guy that fix the computers thinks that probaby  ” join.me”  do it. (I don’t understand that part of the computers, I’m just a happy user).

  • Yes, I’ve used it 5 times to do training sessions with clients.  It worked perfectly and there were no problems.

  • I haven’t used this system but my client and I both use TeamViewer.com.  It’s free for “non-commercial” users.

  • I have it, and love it!

They give you a chance to try to the Pro version for 14 days, but after that, you still have access to the free version.

Also, when you use it, the person you are sharing your screen with is left with the impression that you must be pretty to hign-tech to be able to do something like that. :-)

  • I’ve used it and had great results. I use it for troubleshooting computers or to do walkthroughs of programs. And the free has never run out for me. The only issue I have come across is the lag at first login.

  • @deairby I have used JoinMe and it has worked perfectly. I have an annual subscription to GoToWebinar now, so I use that instead. But I recommend JoinMe.

  • thanks, everyone for the input… @rich-brooks @trudy @hildaalanisgonzalez @dcoville001 @warrenveach @catherineschooling @lizkarschner @charlene-kingston

  • Dea, I am still using Join.me (the free version) and I really like it. TeamViewer is also quite good.
