  • Hello, My name is Janice and my husband Matt and I own a small web design/development company called bulletsite.com I am at a complete loss when it comes to bringing new clients in.. I can’t live on air so any help would rock. Oh My hubby is a professional musician and I am a published poet.

  • HI @janice-spruill-woodring

SEO seems to be nonexistent (at your website) as far as I can tell and that should be your first priority. I also don’t see any information about your company other than a client list. Transparency is important as — 1 people may not trust you if you don’t at least tell them where you are located — 2 you don’t offer any information about your services — 3 there is not enough content to show that you can write about an industry, your own or that of others, for solid website content.  No phone number listed either.

Not being harsh – just saying what I see.  I think I’d get that website completed before going after any segment of the business population to further your endeavor.

  • Write a helpful blog posts about web development or writing poetry and then link your blog post to the product promotion on your site. Join relevant LinkedIn groups (where the people are interested in purchasing web development or who are interested in buying poetry) and then tease the blog posts in the group discussions — that way you are driving potential customers to your blog where they will click the link to your product promotions. There are well over a million LinkedIn groups — you are sure to find groups that include people passionate about what you do.

I agree with @supereb. No one’s going to find your website who is using a search engine.

You should be establishing your expertise, educating your potential customers on what makes for an effective website in the form of a blog and/or an email newsletter.

I would also learn as much as I could about SEO and make that an integral part of your design going forward.

Also, be active on the social media platforms where your ideal customers hang out and engage them there.

    Good luck!
