Hi.  I do marketing communications for small businesses in the Traverse City MI area.  My wife and I failed early retirement and opened our own agency, Due North Marketing Communications Inc.  We do mostly Facebook, YouTube and blogs.  We also do traditional media.  We met while working at a TV station and have been in marketing communications for 40 years.

After all those years we’ve learned a thing or two, one of which is that social media is great for small businesses because it gives them a lot of control over their message and helps reach customers who are already looking for their products and services.  And the price is right.
