Really? I have not noticed that stuff here. My concern is that our government will bow to “certain” demands to help actually control our citizens ability to communicate with each other in any way we see fit. Freedom of Speech is at risk and although our representatives have stood together on this issue I am fearful of that not always happening in the future.
We can only hope they will still stand together and represent our best interest in this issue. The one good thing is that Google and other large corporations are also on our side regarding this issue – I put more store in their ability (it’s where the money flows) to keep our government on the right track.
The scary part – IF any of the entities that have been holding together – Our Gov on both sides of the isle, Corporations like Google, and “we the people” see a way to profit from this – that portion of the entity as a whole will split off and go for it. And we all know that will not be in the best interest of “we the people.”
