I recently got a couple of “Likes” from businesses for my FaceBook business page.  But the count didn’t update.  And they didn’t seem to show in the listing page of the people who liked my page.  Then I clicked on the down arrow next to the people drop down and was able to select “Pages” and voila, there were the business pages that liked my FaceBook page.  Thought there might be others as clueless as me out there.

I believe that your “likes” count will only reflect “people” likes.  If a business “likes” your page, this will not count in the “like’ counter.  I do not think there is a way to change this.  It is the way Facebook set it up.  And yes, you will not see a business listed under the “people” only under “pages”.

Unfortunately Kim is correct. We have emailed facebook more then one time to discuss this matter but no response.

One more thought: That being said (that Pages don’t add to your Liker count) is there any advantage to your Business Page liking other Business Pages??

@claudiapoeckl  I agree with your view on the benefit of other businesses liking my page.  I have found it much easier to connect with these businesses that way.
