    I’ve been asked to develop a seminar series around the Impact of Digital on the Future of Business. Looking for 3-5 major, major themes that will be really important in changing business over the next several years.Any ideas?

    Print (books, novels, ads) V.S. Digital having published comics I can tell you digital is a very different ball game. The price point is infinitely different, you are much more open to piracy and a world of other things. I could elaborate if you like but it’s almost 1am here and I just thought I’d give you a suggestion before bed lol. I hope this helps!

    The way we consume TV and video. It has already started but it will amalgamate even more until the TV and computer becomes one. Video Rental stores will cease to exist as all movies are consumed online. There will be more and more on-demand for “TV” shows and movies and YouTube and other video sites will fill in the void and become one with the way video will be consumed. 

    Just an idea and my predictions. :)

    @russellallert @sgsrecording thanks…yes the convergence of everything into “over IP”, and wrapping up into apps I can imagine…will that impact all businesses or just media?

    I think you can see the effects on media companies already – they are running scared and creating terrible legislation like SOPA. 

    I definitely think this is a game-changer for everyone. People want to consume what they want, when they want it – they want control. And the companies who let them do this will be the winners.

    It will and already has impacted all business @ifenwick Look at major brands like Coke and Molson Budweiser even NASA is heavily invested into social media. I think NASA actually was voted the 2nd or 3rd best Google+ business page!
