  • I just heard about iDone This, which is a place where you record on  a daily basis what you accomplished in a day. It keeps a “calendar” for you.

Found it listening to Dan Pink on motivation (Marketing Profs seminar).

I am going to try, it will be interesting to see if it helps a a solo practictioner…sometimes not having colleagues one can miss the group motivation.

I haven’t heard it, but I have heard that when you publicly announce something…commit to it…you’re more likely to go through with it.

So, this site sounds like a way to get people to commit to the process of getting things done.

In Influence: The Psychology of Persuasion, chapter 2 is all about Commitment & Consistency, so this plays to that.

  • interesting that they have an iPhone App. I downloaded it, worth a try.

  • @rich-brooks @richardmclaughlin I’ve used it a few days, and it let’s me feel good when I’ve done stuff and gives me a kick in the pants when I haven’t

  • LOL My business partners send these type emails to me 4-5 times a day. I don’t think I need anyone else asking what I got done today.

  • @warrenveach so true when it comes from someone else! I’m solo and need to be accountable to myself. It’s easy to spend time unwisely–some days I spend too much time on SME!

  • I def spend too much time on SME! I found Asana and am trying it out. I like the way it works. I get an email reminding me of what I need to do!   @joanmuschampfagnani
