I Need a List (7 posts)

  • Hi everyone,

I am somehow new to online marketing and it is also not a full time job for me. But I had tried all the tricks I learnt concerning lists building but it doesn’t seems to be working for me. Please the anyone know the best way to achieve a good list in the shortest possible time?

I am open to outsourcing if that is a good option. What do you reckon?

  • HI  @mosesakinmuyiwa   -

Most of the things I’ve done are summarized in a video put out last September. What’s funny is all I had to do was google your question.  Have you actually LOOKED around to find resources for this?  I found this easily.
Here is the video if you have not seen it already —How To Build an Email List FAST – 5 Simple Methods You Can Use for FREE

Some really nice videos from Sean Donahoe for other questions you might have.

  • List building is more about getting quality leads than quantity. Which is why it can take some time to build a great list of active prospects.

Outsourcing is a great option for you, but don’t expect it to happen over night. Social Media is still marketing and with all marketing some time is needed to find the winning formula that gets you amazing results.
Out of curiosity what have you done to build your list?Do you have newsletter? Do you offer great content for free so people will opt in to get the information? What social medias are you using? Does the social media attempts you have taken to build your list have a laser focus on reaching your target client?

  • @mosesakinmuyiwa

@rachel-petrikenas and @supereb have some good points.

What is your business? Who is your target audience? Once we know that, maybe we can offer some tailored suggestions on how you can build your list.

  • Hi @mosesakinmuyiwa,

That’s a broad question and there are many ways you can take to trace your path and reach your goal. First of all you definitely need to know where is your audience hanging out (as @rich-brooks) correctly stated, what are their interests, what do you have to offer, if you have a budget to build your list or not, if you can create good content or not, etc, etc.

Building a list could take months or some few days, depending on several factors.

Hope to hear more about your business soon.

    Best!Max.

  • Thanks guy. Is just that I don’t have enough time. But will get there soon. Appreciate.
