  • A while back i asked the question is Empire Avenue a game or is it to be taken seriously? i am here to tell you it works! if you have the time, and if you stick to goals, it has been wonderful to generate leads, likes, RT, subscriptions, and leads.

Have you tried it yet and do you have any intention of trying?

  • @jasonwiser I hadn’t heard of it before—I looked it up @ http://empireavenue.com/ and was surprised to not find any explanation of what it is or how it works. The about page doesn’t really communicate what it’s all about either.

Can you elaborate on how it works and what the workflow would be to use it?

    thanks
    Jules

  • @jasonwiser  I just signed up. I don’t know what it is, but if Jason says it’s good it must be great!

  • Looks interesting but I can see where this would take time and effort to manage and keep current.  Like Jason said, if you have the time it may be beneficial.

  • If they can’t be more descriptive on the home page, I don’t want to go there.  I won’t sign up for anything that I don’t know what it is.

  • The deal is, it is very complicated and has many subtitles to it. It can be just a game, or it can be a mean force for generating new qualified leads and help expand your community with people who are invested in you. @juleswebb

@amyhallbiz be sure to send me your ticker name so I can help you with some early promotion. Also, if anyone else wants some early promotion assistance, contact me before you sign up. I did not want to put my EA bonus link here because I do not want to violate any spam rules in the clubs (thought I don’t think it would be a problem in this case). You get special bonuses for bringing new people into the community, as you can imagine.

I will be posting a video review about why I think EA can be a powerful weapon in your SM arsenal if used properly. If you just play the game, it is a huge waste of time, but if you tap in to the social Networking aspect of it, It produces amazing results.

In two weeks I have increased my Youtube subscriptions from 3 to 38. And theses are not just some Fiverr gig nonsense of “1000 FB likes for 5$”. These are people who are commenting, liking, and sharing my videos on their other social channels. I am getting email subscriptions and personal emails.

I have used my own profile to promote one of my clients FB page and have gotten 8 new page likes from people who continue to comment, share, and like posts on the page. 8 may not seem to be a lot, but when your page is new, in such a small and specific niche, and only has 51 likes, 8 IS a lot!

I do NOT recommend tossing out your Hootsuite strategy and taking up the EA charge, but If you are looking to get your existing SM activities into new communities, this is the best solution I have come across. We all know it does not take long to exhaust your ability to promote your business on your FB Profile. In short time, mom, Dad, and Aunt Erma (does anyone have an Aunt Erma?) begin to stop taking action on your FB profile. So finding new communities and getting your FB Page over the 500+ hump is a real challenge for many small business.

Empire Aveanue is not easy, it takes a lot work, it requires discipline, it is addictive and will try to suck you away from your other responsibilities, and you cannot cheat (at least not for very long). It will not work if you are not social. That’s right, you need to make friends and communicate with real people. This is a wonderfully organic robot free zone. Ok so I am a robot racist.

Anyway, send me emails, messages, or questions on this thread and I will do my best to answer the questions.

    See you on the Ave.!

  • Got me curious; made me look.  Searching on Facebook, I found a closed group  (Empire Avenue Guide Group) that provides a link to their Facebook page, which contains a bit more information — including the statement that “We are not officially affiliated with Empire Avenue in any shape or form”.  Hmmm…

Interestingly enough, that Facebook page isn’t all that “social”, which struck me as being more of a “do as I say, not as I do” page.  :)

  • @jasonwiser  here it is (e)AMYHALLBIZ  – I tried to find you but I wasn’t successful. :(

  • @jasonwiser Thanks for the explanation. I am curious and would like to check it out. Currently I have too much on my plate to commit the time. I’ll be sure to let you know when I sign up.
    cheers!Jules
