    I don’t find any links to your site or your social media links at your profile here – if this is how you are going about ‘spreading the word’ you need to know that links are important.

    Please provide at least a link to your website. Under normal circumstances I’d say SEO would be the place to start but without a link, I don’t know if that is true.

    Write a helpful blog post related to the product and then link your blog post to the product promotion on your site. Join relevant LinkedIn groups (where the people are interested in your topic) and tease the blog post in the group discussions — that way you are driving potential customers to your blog where they will click the link to your product promotion.

    Instead of trying to be everywhere, why not focus on one or two social media platforms where your ideal customers hang out and really focus on providing value for them there?

    With the new google set up I believe SEO has changed? Wouldn’t free listings for your details online still work mixed in with blogging, guest blogs and SM all help with fresh new content? It’s just exhausting…I find anyway :)

    In regards to consolidating my social media activity into a manageable list, I use xeeme.com
    It saves me alot of time.
    I also join business directories, publish a blog and have been social networking for decades. LinkedIn is my top choice for business connections and Facebook for social connections. I also have joined offline business networking groups and always carry some business cards with me to promote myself and my website.
