1 year, 4 months ago: You may have noticed that several members have blue words that click to their website, blogs or other URLs. Those are called hyperlinks and the comment area in the Club allows you to use them! This is how you can use them.
One of the inspirational videos I have been sharing is “Happiness” Do you see how the word “Happiness is in blue letters? If you click on it, you will be taken to my Youtube channel to see that video.
Hyper Links are easy to do, and as you can see, look very good.
1) Go to the comment area and begin your comment. You can practice in the comment area below if you would like. Start your comment, when you get to a place where you would like to add your link, you will write a few words. These are the words that people will click on to be taken to your link. Think 1 to 3 words. Once you have your words typed, use your mouse to left click back over them, similar to what we do to copy and paste. When done correctly, those words will appear in a dark box.
Now you are ready add hyperlinks to your comment!
2) Go to the top of the message box and look at the icons (those little pictures) on the top. We are looking for the one that looks like a chain. You can go 7 from the right side to the left, or 13 from the right to the left.
Click on that icon and a new box will appear. This is where you will add the URL that you want to use for your hyper link.
Add your URL, click submit and you will have a hyper link inside of your message! This looks much more presentable and most of us are used to clicking on those magical blue words that take us where you want us to go.
