Great article – I usually read the Social Media Examiner items around lunch time – Pinterest Contributor Boards; really like this idea.

Like most folks who keep up with SM I have a Pinterest account and pin things on a pretty much irregular basis.  It seems like a leisure time activity to me and always has seemed like such.  I’ve had a hard time wrapping my mind around it being a business endeavor. However, as time has passed, it has become obvious that Pinterest is a very powerful tool for business as well as leisure.

I’ll be all over this later today or tomorrow for sure.

@seleanaw Wow, what a great article, Seleana.  Thanks for sharing!  I’m always looking for new ideas to use social media for promoting my business, and this is really creative.

I too thought that was a great article and agree that it is somewhat challenging to come up with clever board ideas. (financial planning – talk about a snoozer) But then I see other creative boards out there and tweak the idea and make it my own.

I while back, I heard/saw the “Guest Pinner Gallery” concept and decided to create a board and invite clients to post. Now with Melanie Duncan article, I know how to do it – correctly.

I enjoyed the article, but for some reason, all my images on my site show up as tiny thumbnails when they are pinned (but no tiny images appear on my site).

I’m using wordpress—does anyone know how to fix this?
