Great information @trudyd1474 . I have a question about Google + Local. I plan on starting a homebased business soon. Would it be better for me to use my home address in Google + Local? Or for me to rent a mail box in a business center? Will Google allow a rented box address to be used?
As our family grows we plan to move to a bigger house so my home address will change. That is one more reason why I think a rented mail box may be better. If anyone else has a homebased business I would love to hear your input.

@Vince … you don’t have to show an address at all … but you do have to list one (and PO boxes aren’t acceptable). You can always list your home address and hide it in the listing if you don’t want customers knocking on your door. You can also change it when you move.

@Vince … the phone number is a critical part of the listing, Vince. Be sure to list the phone you want to use for business, then make sure you have an appropriate greeting/message/answering protocol for it. Many entrepreneurs work from home, but don’t always want to receive customers at home.
