How many of you are attending the Small Biz Success Summit? (9 posts)

  • If you’re a part of SBSS 2012, what’s the biggest take away that you’ve gotten so far? How has it helped your biz?

For me, a fantastic, even though fast paced way of practical ways I can put Social Media to work for me.

  • Yes, I love it! My favorite so far has been Marcus Sheridan on blogging. He had some great ideas and tips for how to write blog posts that would get into search results and that people would love.

I’m going to watch the recording of that one about six more times :)

  • @carollynnrivera, I had to watch the replay on that one. I’m glad they’ve got the recordings! I’m going to have to watch them several times myself!

  • Too many great presentations to name, in fact they are all great. The ones that resonated most with me are Rich Brooks, Marcus Sheridan, Anita Campbell – anything to do with content, which is where I specialize. I love SEO tips as well.

The challenge is putting all this into action. With so many great ideas, I feel like my brain is exploding. Anyone else feel like this?

  • @lyndagoldman-copywriting, I really felt that way just after today’s sessions. Now, I need my business to hit “hold” while I have a chance to put the great ideas into action. Some, while not my main focus give me solid ideas that I can incorporate into my classes. But, first implementation is to use these ideas to build my own business, to lead by example :)

  • Marcus Sheridan’s presentation was fantastic.  Even though I read his blog and have seen him interviewed before, the penny finally dropped for me on the true magic of blogging.

  • Have not missed any of the live sessions as yet and I have taken practical knowledge away from all of the presenters thus far. This is my first Social Media Examiner summit and I am so glad I decided to participate this time around. It has been a wonderful learning experience and a great way to network to say the least.

  • @sketchgraphx, I wish I could have attended all of them live. Somehow it’s not the same watching the replay ~ perhaps it’s the Twitter feed of sharing that isn’t going on. I agree with you, it’s been wonderful & well worth the investment ~ I my first also.

@samanthagentile, I’m finally getting the blog thing figured out too. Now, to find the time & put together the plan & content calendar that will be needed – the next challenge :)

  • Yep I am really enjoying it too. I have had to watch quite a few replays but that’s ok.

I am getting a lot out of it.
