Have you tried TrustCloud? (5 posts)

  • I was just invited to try TrustCloud by a couple of people who I’ve known for a long while and have always been a bit ahead of the curve.
(I do trust them, but I was trying to avoid using that exact word.) ;)

Has anyone else checked out the service? It feels like Klout or Kred, which I’ve made fun of once or twice before. Personally, I wouldn’t have looked twice at it if not for these two people.

If you have any opinion, let me know. If you care, here I am: https://trustcloud.com/!/therichbrooks/

  • HI @rich-brooks

I haven’t but might give it a shot now. I did do the Klout thing so I’d understand the dynamic but don’t trust that as a real measurement either.

I sometimes think we cannot ignore these assessments but at the same time, know they cannot be accurate.

  • @supereb @rich-brooks Hello Rich,
I have seen a few tweets going around mentioning TrustCloud but never thought much of it. I just checked it out and registered as well. Here is my profile:

Not convinced it will amount to much more than Klout, Kred or PeerIndex, but time will tell, I guess.

    Cheers from Quebec City,
    Frederic

  • Hi  @rich-brooks @fredericgonzalo

The value I find in these measurements is in the stats provided.  That alone, can be a really good overview of what, when and how our interactions are working, at a glance.

If not for that, I’d probably not bother other than to get some idea of how I am doing overall. There are other ways of monitoring, but do like that this is a quick glance for any of the platforms mentioned.
