  • Hi Melanie,

What’s the best way to incorporate pinnable images onto your site if you are in the service business and not a product biz?

    - Joan

  • Welcome, Melanie,Is there ANY business that would not benefit from using Pinterest? If so, what and why?Dea:) :) ;)

  • Hi Melanie,I’m a virtual assistant. How can I use Pinterest in my business? Thanks in advance for your help.

  • I have a similar question to @joancrocker.  I am a small business consultant and would like some ideas on how I can promote this business on Pinterest.

  • @joancrocker try featuring pinnable videos that are hosted on YouTube or Vimeo to provide positioning and relationship building for your services.

  • Great question @dea irby. I haven’t come across any, but those who have a female audience are at a tremendous advantage.

  • Melanie, is it possible to create an account for a business with multiple administrators? If so, how to go about this?

  • @melanieduncan - Welcome- Does it work for B2B business services? I have posted both personal and business pictures, some to evoke emotion, but it seems like I don’t have too many followers? I follow people that are in the same industry, some follow back others don’t. I heard you can put keyword in your description and when commenting on your own photo’s or videos you can put hastag so that the search will find it? I am still learning about this and how it can help bring in awareness to what I do.

    Thanks

  • @claudiapoeckl You can add contributors to any board you please, but the account can only be listed to one person.

  • @prestonodenbrett Absolutely! I would recommend engaging with your current audience and letting them know why they should follow you on Pinterest. Email them, put a post on your Facebook page and then let your growth stem organically from there.

  • @amyhallbiz Go through my training course and then offer your “Pinterest marketing trained” services to your clients. :)

  • Hi Melanie, is it possible to know how far your pin has gone, that means how many repins from the direct repins and how many likes on the repins your pin has gotten? Also, what is a good number of pins that you recommend on a board?, is it better to have several medium size boards than a big one?…… Thanks!!!

  • hi melanie….so  glad  to hear  from you on pinterest….im in the  best  category  …women and their homes,  and a heavy pinner with  about  2000  followers … .#1 question…. how  commercial  should i  get?   i hesitate  to use hash tags and too many   prices….many of my   facebook  fans   follow me on  there…..im  broad and  general in  my  field with lotsof pins  around  our   main interests…… and  put   our website on   OUR pictures……

my # 2  question…whats  going on on  pinreach?    it  doesnt seem to be working anymore….

#3 question….i  joined under my name…thru my  facebook i think……and   not  the store….  any   problems on  this?

  • Good, point- never thought of doing that was looking for new people, but I guess I should go to my network already.. duh…
    @melanieduncan

  • Melanie, do you have any stats on Pinterest Contest results as far as garnering new followers, number of entrants, etc for smaller businesses?  I’m seeing a lot of large corporation Pinterest numbers but wondering about small business or regional businesses success stories.
