  • How do you display your goals visually in your office so that you are reminded of them on a daily basis?  I’d love to hear your creative ideas!

  • I love writing my goals and tasks on sticky notes and notepads. I have them all placed near my laptop.

I also have it displayed on my online cork board alongside with my daily task. :)

  • I just picked up a copy of Seth Godin’s Pick Four. It comes in a four pack and allows you to focus on 4 goals and track your daily action towards those goals for 12 weeks. I’m interested in seeing the results.

  • I’ve just picked up a large wipe-board which is now above my desk which I’ve split into goals for personal life, career and my blog. It’s handy having it written out so close to my laptop and desk so I’m always reminded of them when I look up.

To daily goals, I have a sheet inside a plastic wallet on which I can use my wipe-board pen to clean and re-write every morning to keep me organised.

  • @srinivasrao I do usually love everything Seth Godin puts out so I’ll check it out.  Great ideas  @rhiannaellis and  @valeriejoydeveza :)  I am re-organizing my office so I want them to be visible for inspiration.

  • My yearly goals start with the 3 words activity that Chris Brogan does. And from there my marketing goals/objectives for the year will start…

  • @rebecca Cool!

There’s one guest post @ Chris Brigan’s blog that I really like. I always read it every time I feel down. It always kicks my butt! LOL!

  • My 13 year old daughter last year asked me what my New Year’s resolutions were for 2011; I told her I didn’t make resolutions but rather made goals instead. So of course her next question was what my goals were. So I had to take the time to think through the various areas of my life and I came up with goals for work, for me personally, and for the family. She wrote them all down on a white board that was in the hallway between her room and mine. Every day I saw those goals in my baby girl’s handwriting and it was like a promise from me to her of what I was going to do in 2011. Her and I talked about those goals nearly every single week. By the end of August this year I had accomplished every one of those goals. I’m looking forward to this process with her again this year.
