Get Glue????? (5 posts)

  • Who keeps coming up with this stuff? I recently read an article about the coming trends in sm as seen by ten social media leaders from top businesses.
    According to Walgreens:
Adam Kmiec  Head of Social Media
The 3 social platforms I’m doubling down on are Get Glue, Pinterest and Google+. They have the right intersection of features, natural consumer behavior, and simplicity to generate scale and enterprise adoption.
So I, of course, created an account, like I have time. It uses gamification, friending, liking…blah, blah, blah… A lot like Pinterest (which many shunned and has now claimed its territory). Are you going to jump on?

  • Checked out GetGlue and not interested. Not interested in Pinterest either.  Frankly I have to much to do with clients needs.  I am on Google + but do nothing with it.

  • way to stay focused, Trudy @trudy

  • I have been using GetGlue for quite awhile. It is more for entertainment and a way of seeing what my friends are reading.

Pinterest is interesting for certain items (like infographics), but I use Delicious for my bookmarks.

Google + is an up and coming network. I am giving a talk on how businesses can use it this Wednesday. Google started Orkut way before anyone else, and it is still going, but is mostly in Brazil.

  • Anita, are you in Brazil? @anitacohen-williams
