I recently started using transferbigfiles.com. You get 1 MG free. None of the trying to get you to upgrade like YouSendIt.com does. It’s been working well for me.Trudy

@trudyd1474 just thought about this, I have unlimited bandwidth at GoDaddy. If I really wanted to send a huge file I could upload it and share a link (but I’d probably just burn a DVD)
If you want to send a file to a person that you know well, you can use LogMeIn (dot com) and share a desktop.

I personally use DropBox with all my clients – it has 2GB free storage. It sits as a short link on desktop and works like ordinary folders – just creat folder, drop in files and share the folder – that sends an email to the person and they can then just access files or drop files in. Much quicker I think than transfer files! and the more people you invite the more space you get FREE!

I am not sure you can send files to someone else, but I will check or check them out at http://www.cloudzow.com if you want service then go to http://www.preston.cloudzow.com . I will have to ask this, as I have other clients that have huge files that they want to share… was not thinking right when I posted earlier. My mistake. My appologies.

@mambamedia Unfortunately I’m still having trouble with Dropbox on my MAC. Works on my PC’s, iPhone and iPad……..but not the iMAC (Lion). I’ve tried to delete and reinstall. No workie. Tried the Forum. No helpie. A bit disillusioned right now.

The service only allows for file uploading to servers as a back up not a file sharing faculty unless you don’t mind your client going into your account and finding the folder… You better really trust your client for that one.
