FormSpring – Got an opinion? (6 posts)

  • I have a  client that has a FormSpring account. They haven’t posted to this account in close to 1 year … I’m just wondering if it’s even worth it to revive it. It seems like the audience is between 18 – 26 only. My client’s audience is between 24 – 56.

  • @amyhallbiz

My gut reaction says no. Does one have followers on FormSpring?

It doesn’t seem like anyone’s clamoring for the return of your client, so I’d focus elsewhere.

    YMMV.

  • @amyhallbiz How very Formspring of you to ask this question this way. My formspring answer is – no. My twitter answer is – no  @amyhallbiz  i do not think #formspring is worth the time.

( Ok clubbers help me out here.  @jasonreilly what is the facebook response,  @chrisloeser , you write the G+ reason why Formspring is not worth pursuing, and of course we cannot have a poke fun party without inviting @atlantarobin to do a “short” robin review of said network )

  • @rich-brooks @jasonwiser  That’s what I told them … drop the FormSpring!!!

  • @amyhallbiz. Formspring had a ton of negative publicity at my children’s high school a couple years ago. I think there was at least one case of a suicide due to someone reading all the nasty stuff their “friends” had written about them. The school sent home all sorts of warnings about the site. I wouldn’t touch it with a 10 foot pole. I hadn’t even heard of it before that and when I asked my kids whether they used it they said something like “we’re not that stupid”. So, the parent answer is NO!

  • I’d get rid of it. Last time I checked, it was overrun with immature high school kids. It just doesn’t really seem like a platform that’s suitable for marketing your business.
