I am trying to find out information on private labeling products or what is involved with manufacturing and distributing your own product.  Does anyone have any good information or can point me to any contacts?

Yes.  From what I am gathering you can find a business that already makes a product and you can wholesale from them for the product and have them put your label on the product (as if it was produced by you).  Some wineries do this.  You can also produce your own product like a rub for meats and either make it in your kitchen or outsource the production and shipping of your product to a third party.  

Just curious if anyone here had experience with either of these.
