I agree with the article writer… conversion rates always start with the script. An appropriate script that touches your audience’s real pain points combined with articulated solutions that your company provides, all meshed into a not-in-your-face empathetic, whether funny or not, video… can actually convert.
He’s always right in hiring two companies for your vid… one for the script, one for the production work. These aren’t promo/ad videos that just any production company can do. They’re strategic, more effectively executed with A/B conversion testing to improve your message and conversions over time, and can be pricey if you’re not dealing with the right production companies.
And there I was thinking that I was gonna read a shortcut way to make an “explainer” video. Bottom line is… real results requires real expertise and real money… writing, conversion testing, and video production… can’t get around any of them.
