  • Anyone have any experience with employing these sorts of things? How did they work for you? Worth it/not worth it? Increases in conversions, customer dialog?

  • Hi @chrisloeser,

I owned an online designer watch retail store for a couple years and we used http://boldchat.com for our live chat. It was very beneficial. Lots of our clients preferred to chat instead of calling with questions. Hope that helps.

  • As a consumer, exit pops are hideously annoying. Have never clicked on one. Live chat is a different story, but so many times (just today, as a matter of fact) there’s no one available to help – the wait is too long.

However, as a business owner, I like the idea of offering Live chat. It would have to be very inexpensive (read: free), as my business isn’t exactly booming. Would love a way to find out what keeps visitors from buying, though. And Live chat might be an option.
