I have embedded youtube videos into html websites and they are not showing on my HTC Android phone – perhaps not on others either. It says content not supported? Other flash related stuff such as brochures and galleries work.

I thought the whole point of imbedding from somewhere such as YouTube or Vimeo meant they can be seen across all platforms as they were supposed to be encoded correctly? Is there some extra code I need to add? I have searched a lot for the answer but not found the answer and dont want to have to re-create each video in different formats just for the purpose of being seen on one phone type.

Would be great if a few people can test on different phones and see so I can figure if it’s a problem with imbed or the phones and may then have to look at other options or may need to include extra code perhaps?
