    Do you have your blog or website set up for Author Tags?

    If you don’t know what they are, you’ve probably seen them. Go to Google, do a search, and when you see the author’s headshot next to the article, that’s an author tag!

    They supposedly increase click through rates, which is something we all want.

    @rich-brooks YES!!! They are a must have for a site. I have a plumber that is number 3 in the Google maps area. And they were “stuck” there for a while and the number of leads was consistent, but not really going up. When I added the google authorship element, he received a picture beside his google maps entry and his leads went up considerably. I thought he had shot up to the number one position of google maps, but it was that the picture was showing besides his entry.
