Do you have a Social Media Resume or Portfolio on Pinterest yet? (8 posts)

  • Saw this article today about creating social media resumes on Pinterest. I think it’s very helpful for creating Online Portfolios for entrepreneurs, experts, authors, and local business owners, too.

Haven’t done mine yet, but after seeing this, it’s definitely on my agenda.

  • thanks for   sharing….

@atlantarobin sounds like a good  idea…  i wonder if it will catch on….

lots of times i  wish i  could  see  the  person  better….

..  not totally  clear (to me)  but  i assume  the  resume  was  actually a   board on  your pinterest…

  • @atlantarobin I do not have anything that professional on my boards at this time. I love Chris Penn (follow him on Twitter) so thanks for the share.  I think Pinterest would be an ideal portfolio spot if you don’t mind your work being shared (w/o reference).

  • @atlantarobin Ooooo. Brilliant! Host everything on your own blog and viola. A beautiful resume to send people to!

  • @atlantarobin This is a great article full of awesome ideas.  Thanks for sharing this with the group!

  • @atlantarobin

Great share! I think I’m going to build one out for myself, my company, and for a number of my employees, too.

  • @atlantarobin just  wanted to thank  you for this link….i already had a life at greenoak   board on  my pinteresT….  BUT i never thought of  developing it  a little   more  ……so  this morning i put   3  good  shots  from my  website, with links…….the main heading….a  great map  and  a  good interior picture…..  . super idea….and  so  simple…in a way i  already had  the  resume  board…anyway a nice overview of our  place…. now its  better!!!

  • @amyhallbiz Amy, I forgot about the links back to your blog. Yes, this has a LOT of potential on so many different levels.

@annfurnivall So glad you went back and “upgraded” your Pinterest boards.

When I saw this article, I thought… OK, I need to do this… but didn’t really have time then, so I posted here to share… knowing that THAT would remind me, when others put it to work and I started to feel guilty about fixing my own board, lol.

So now… I’ve finally broken down and scheduled this on my agenda this week. So glad I saw this, posted it, and that YALL reminded me how good an idea this was!

And Rich, great idea to include everyone… yourself, your company, and all your employees. A very good idea to pass along to local business clients, too! Pinterest seems to be a Google ranking favorite lately, so a local company with a bunch of employees could surely get a lot of ranked posts with nice backlinks from such a nice little project. @rich-brooks
