  • When I was 17, I read a quote that went something like: “If you live each day as if it was your last, someday you’ll most certainly be right.” It made an impression on me, and since then, for the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: “If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?” And whenever the answer has been “No” for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.”
    Steve Jobs.

  • I have quoted that one before, great, great, great! @laurachristianson read that one the other day…love it. @fredericgonzalo That clever Audrey! @jeniferswanson

One I like: “If you think you can do a thing or you think you can’t do a thing, you are right.” Henry Ford

The Golden Rule is always a good thing to live by!

Another one: “Be a first rate version of yourself and not a second rate version of someone else!” (I think Judy Garland is credited with this.)

@rlmosca Great question, Rick. You have opened a can of worms for me…I’ve got a million of ‘em!

  • @rlmosca @randithompson @dongrandy @fredericgonzalo @laurachristianson @fernandocortes @jeniferswanson @cynthiacosco @seancookceo-salyrisstudios @deairby Mine is “Sucessful People Keep Moving, They Make Mistakes But Never Quit” it’s engraved on the back of my iPad and I live by this quote. It doesn’t have to relate to business it can relate to life. Starting a family, paying off a mortgage, even running a marathon. Sucess is everywhere.

  • I saw somewhere: Speed is of the essence. Succes is more importand than perfection in every detail.

Another one:  We are more afraid of something what never happens (Salesquote Michel Hoetmer NL/SE).

  • Great stuff guys. I love all the quotes. Love that Winston Churchill, I think he is quouted with my favorite: this is a part; “Nothing can take the place of persistence. Talent will not: nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genious will not, unrewarded genious is almost a proverb. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent.”

  • In my work as a graphic artist I’ve had many instances to test this theory of the quote. Freelance Art can a painfully demanding job. Producing the work is not as gruelling as pounding the pavement to obtain clientel. If not for the strength of determination that the Good Lord blessed me with I probably would have quit, throwing my hands up in dispair long before now. The love of the work has kept me pounding away at the hard rock.
