We have a company in our area that has been working on dynamic QR codes that is pretty neat. Right now it is in beta and you can play with it for free. Am sure when it comes out of beta there will be some type of charge but they haven’t announced a time yet or any pricing.
I have found it helpful because if I stick a QR code on a print brochure that may have a shelf life of several months or even a year then I can go in and change the site the scanner goes to from my computer. So the same printed QR code scanned today may take the person to our website, tomorrow to our Facebook page, the next day sets up an email, etc. I am not involved in the company, a small start-up but was introduced to it at a mobile marketing seminar I attended. Called TrakQR if anyone is interested. I am pretty much a novice here so would be interested in some of you power users thoughts on it.
