  • I found a really cool blog post on how to turn a like into a conversation. I believe that’s step 1 of converting to business. It encourages promotion for the end users creating more end users.

  • @alexandra_mo  Thanks for the post!  I totally agree that a “like” simply starts the process…..and it IS a process.  Conversation and engagement are a vital next step to keep the relationship going.  Thanks again!

    The likes for me are the initial feeds and then grooming the “Likes” into a strong sustainable business relationship is what really make the “Likes” priceless on the long run.

  • @eddysleiman  Well said Eddy!  While I am just starting out in using Social Media, my goal has been to respond to both likes and any comments on my page as soon as possible.  It seems once I get a dialog going, those that have visited and liked my page become more frequent visitors.  I also try to find interesting content related to my industry in some way to post frequently.  I know I have been turned off by pages where the content is rarely, if ever, updated so I try to keep things current.
