ChaCha use? (3 posts)

  • Is there anyone who is using a plug-in for ChaCha questions and answers on a website? I never really thought about using an outside provider for general questions about the field (not necessarily business specific). I was checking out information Superbowl Village this year ( http://www.indianapolissuperbowl.com/super-bowl-village/) and noticed that there is a Q&A box “powered by ChaCha.” I know it would only work for specific questions but answering perhaps general questions about a field the business supports (i.e. asking questions on career options, shortage, job statistics, etc.). Does anyone use ChaCha or something similar? Do you worry about having someone outside of the company providing answers? Overall we drive our customers to call in with questions and plan to implement Live Chat to control messaging, but ChaCha intrigues me.

I haven’t heard of them, but I’d be concerned about anyone answering questions for my company on my website.

This obviously isn’t a slam against them, but I’d want to be answering the questions and establishing my own expertise.

  • @rich-brooks That is my line of thinking as well. That’s why I became curious if any of the “campers” use them on their website since there is the plug-in available.
