Anyone have stories about businesses that you think have a very strong company culture – one that attracts employees and clients alike – looking to interview a few for new book I’m working on.

@johnjantschThis might be an odd choice, but there’s a wrap place near my office: Market Street Eats. http://www.facebook.com/MarketStreetEatsColin, the owner, takes customer service and fresh food so seriously that he’s got a rabid fan base and employees who stick around for years…unusual in an industry with such a high turnover rate.Another is Bangor Savings Bank, a local bank that has been growing by leaps and bounds here in Maine. They’ll come into a restaurant and pick up everyone’s lunch, for instance. They really are a different type of bank. I also just saw they tripled their small biz loans in 2011 over the previous year!Allison Gray would be a good contact over there.
