As a Plastic Surgeon, I have seen a tremendous boost in my marketing and outreach campaigns as the result of Social Media. But as with any medium, there are definitely do’s and dont’s. The biggest “don’t” is to use social media to sell. When you do this, your community gets turned off and will often walk away.
Instead, social media should be seen as an foundation for educational outreach and for creating and fostering credibility within your specific niche. When used appropriately, it can be extremely successful!
