blekko is another name/word coming up in discussions.I am getting all confused with the different ways to analyze your website or utilize SEO. Now another thing? (according to wikipedia), blekko is ”a web search engine whose goal is to provide better search results than those offered by Google Search” So, what does that mean and how is it used?

@deairby Greetings. I use blekko for search most of the time. It just seems to bring up more relevant sites for what I am searching for. I really like blekko for Pinterest. With the more relevant searches, it is great for finding pictures to pin to your boards. With google searches I seem to get alot of sites that are not really relevant to what I am searching for. @deairby I just signed up with blekko.com - thanks for the recommendation! I find the ability to check the SEO of your competition AWESOME! and kind’a erie at the same time…just shows nothing is private anymore. You can’t view the SEO unless your signed up but you can see where your competitors inbound/outbound links are coming from and going to, page ranks, etc. Pretty powerful information to have if you are trying to gain page rank or stay ahead of your competition.

@deairby There mandate was to get rid of the SPAM for the your search query using some kind of As Spam algo. However, since Yahoo Explorer shut down it is being used for competitor analytics. A Good easy to understand read is here.
