The telecom industry seems to be growing with leaps and bounds globally. Does anybody have any ideas as to what would attract more new individuals to this field at entry levels.

Fortunately there are numerous opportunities available in diverse areas. Many telecom industry jobs where newbies can get their foot in the door are sales, repair ans installation, customer service, special repair technicians, and engineers who help design and implement new devices.

The more technical openings most definitely require special training from either technical schools or advanced institution training. Many other departments only require job related experience that can be rolled over from other fields and industries.

 I strongly agree with you that there is a mismatch which is causing high unemployment. My goal would be to get my foot in the door then advance.
