We have recently transitioned our business from having employees, office, inventory etc to a one person home office. We have been using Quickbooks on line for accounting and payroll. Our accountant recommended Quicken to run the business and our personal finances. Reading the reviews for Mac Quicken, it sounds as though it is not the same program as Windows. Does anyone have experience or a recommendation? Appreciate your thoughts.

@rich-brooks Thanks for your info. My new business is not as accounting intense as our telecom business and he felt Quicken could handle along with our personal info. I wanted to make the switch the first of the year, but after reading the reviews I am wondering if QuickBooks is the right solution for the Mac. Wonder why they can’t make the same program to run in a different operating system.

@Rich-Brooks, I’m having the same problem that Kathy is having. Do you find that there are any weird glitches when your accountant handles your files?

@kristen-robinson after my accountant realized I have all Apple products he suggested I keep the on line version.
