A question about a product, called Local Social Listing (6 posts)

  • Hello Everyone,

A friend of mine brought up to me a product that’s designed to help people leverage G+ for marketing purposes, and it does seem interesting, but I’m not sure if it’s a good deal or not.

Here’s the link to it: http://www.localsociallisting.com/

Please share your thoughts on this. :-)

  • @michael-bissett I always am leery of sites where they have videos that you can’t tell how long it is or turn it off!  I didn’t watch it all the way through and there doesn’t appear to be any other way to find out about the product.

  • @dianebianchi,

I see what you mean. I was able to find the company online, here’s a page that has the information about the various people there:

    http://maximizesocialmedia.com/who-i-am

I’m presently waiting on a call-back from the CEO, so maybe that will help shed some light on this.

  • @michael-bissett I looked at the website and tried to find information about the local social listing, but didn’t see anything.  I also Googled “local social listing” and the only thing I found was an 11 second video that gave no information.  I’d be interested to see what you find out from the CEO.

  • I sat through it…kinda.

He wants to sell you a kit that will show you how to index higher for local SEO.

Total sales ploy, used car salesman tactics. The actual company site looks pretty legit although when you check out some of their clients you can tell it’s spammy updates.
“Local social listings” was in reference to how Google has merged Places Pages with Google+ and how soical search and local search are becoming one. Which they are right baout. What I’m not so sure about is how  ”you can make 500-900 dollars a DAY!!!”
Anyways for what it’s worth I would stay away.

  • @michael-bissett  I don’t like the guys tactics, but I think what he’s selling is legit. My husband does Google Local marketing and is very good at it. http://www.examiner.com/article/3-local-online-marketing-best-practices-to-finish-2012
